Propad Foam Mattress Overlay

Widely used in hospitals and nursing homes for those who are at risk of pressure sores and ulcers, the Propad Mattress Overlay offers maximum support, comfort, and convenience.  

Designed to be simply placed on top of a traditional static mattress, these foam mattress overlays couldn’t be easier to use and maintain.  The overlay itself is made from a foam core that has independent and geometrically cut surface cells that are purposefully larger at the centre of the overlay, and get increasingly smaller as they move toward the edges.  This aids in both increasing the support surface area whilst also reducing friction.

Each foam cell also benefits from a ‘keyhole’ channel design at its base, which allows for better air circulation and reduced heat and moisture build up.  The foam nature of the overlay means it can conform to the shape of the body thus significantly reducing pressure on the vulnerable bony prominences.

The Propad Foam Mattress Overlay is available in two sizes and is supplied with a vapour-permeable two way stretch cover.
