Putnams Theracube Pressure Relief Cushion
Putnams Theracube cushions are simple, all round cushions made with high density foam for extra support, toughness and flexibility. The front edge is rounded, moulding the cushion to the shape of the leg whilst sitting on it. The entire cushion is made of sections cut into the foam which function separately in order to present even weight distribution which in turn increases comfort and adapts to the individuals specific body type and posture.
This unique approach to pressure relief is primarily used to reduce heat discomfort by allowing air to flow between the geometrically cut areas and is ideal for use when prolonged sitting is necessary and pressure relief is essential.
The Putnams harmony cover it comes with is a waterproof, breathable, stretch & wipe clean cover with a zip designed for easy removal, enabling hand washing.
The base is tapered from front to back to eliminate slipping while using on a smooth surfaced seat. This cushion was tested at Salisbury NHS hospital and was found to be suitable for use as pressure relief for low to medium risk users.
