The Muscle Doctor® works in 2 ways to provide either cold or hot treatment. If superficial tissue is sensitive to touch, if the skin is hot and red, if there is swelling, these are all signs that your injury is still fresh and should not be heated.
Ice is for injuries and heat is for Muscles.
Heat: Apply heat to the affected area to help maximise the pain relief. A special mix of natural grain has been developed to ensure the product warms to the correct levels and retains the heat.
Cold: Ice is primarily an analgesic (a pain reliever) and not an actual treatment. It is used to calm down damaged tissues that are inflamed, red, hot or swollen. Icing is mostly just a mild, drug free way of controlling the pain of inflammation.
